The facilities are really good and high quality although the campus does seem relatively outdated from the outside with plain 1960-70s architecture for quite a few of the department buildings like the George Porter Building (Chemistry) and Physics Building. There is always support available, be that in academic or welfare aspects. The only issue with said support is that, at points, responses from the support team could take between a few hours to a few days.

Some of the lecturers are quite dull, however, most are quite interesting to listen to. In terms of the facilities for chemistry, the lecture theatres are very nice and the lectures are all recorded and put online. The labs are not the best as they are quite old compared to what you would expect from a university lab.
