Great place to study. I live at home while studying but it’s easy to get to. More student parking would be a great improvement. I love my course and lecturers, because queens is that bit smaller it means I know my lecturers well enough to feel comfortable asking questions and most are very good teachers. Would highly recommend!

Most teachers are amazing, they are approachable and helpful. Lab classes are very engaging and helpful and I feel are preparing me well for future jobs.

The best aspects regarding life at university would stem from experiences outside of my course, but still within the university at large. The facilities across the university, the extremely friendly and helpful staff members across all faculties, and the campus' look and feel are all major positives in my experience. These aspects, in my opinion, cannot be improved upon much more, without nitpicking that is. As for the other side, the worst aspects of my university experience. These have majorly come from the course which I'm studying itself. Timetabling issues, late and at times uninformative replies to email queries, and the absence of what I, and others, would deem very helpful resources. While I understand that much of this can be out of the university's control, and from what they can control, they are starting to amend it, it always seems to be too little too late. To improve upon this, perhaps more opportunities for feedback which encourage students to explain in more depth what it is that they think are the issues, and how they might fix it.

The best aspect of the course is that it teaches you the theory you need to know if you want to pursue a career in chemistry, and they have the facilities and course content to fully fulfill this. The only way that I could see improvements upon this is perhaps by having the lecture notes in a more uniform style because as it stands, each lecturer's material is laid out in different formats. This isn't a major strife, but it certainly could help if there was a standard. There are a few small aspects of the course which I would think of in a negative light. Small timetabling issues, difficulty contacting busy supervisors, and lack of tutorials and workshops in the later levels. However, the main strife I have with the course is in terms of its approach to placement opportunities. While the school does advertise various positions throughout the term, it is the student's responsibility to apply and attain a placement. If they can't, then they do not get any placement experience. Unlike in other schools and courses within the university, where the school organises placements for students, so if the course says it has placement experience then they WILL get experience, unlike in my school.

Every aspect of living in halls is positive, I have yet to have any experience worthy of complaint. I understand that it can come down to luck on what your flatmates are like in terms of their communal cleanliness, but I haven't had issues with that, and if there were problems then I'm sure the accommodation team would be glad to give advice.
