Glasgow is such a great city for young people with loads going on and lots to do. The University of Glasgow is in such an amazing location with a beautiful campus that really sets it apart from other universities. I like that is is in the West End of the city, it is almost like a wee community of just uni students. Being part of the Glasgow Student Dance Company has been the highlight of my time at university and I know that this is just one of many fantastic societies at Glasgow University. I have had such supportive staff members at university who have gone above and beyond to help me and answer my questions. The Glasgow Uni Union is great 90% of the time but myself and some of my friends have had issues with the way in which people behave on nights out at the union sometimes. Particularly on Wednesdays when sports teams are in the union, it is overcrowded and people are really rude. I have been harassed by boys on the Rugby team before and I think the University should be dealing with these issues more seriously.

I have loved my course for the most part. The staff in both the French department and Theatre department have been so helpful.

I was in Winton Drive back in 2019/2020 when the price was definitely lower than it is now. I had a great big room and my flat was only about a 15 minute walk from campus. I wish my halls had been a bit more lively and I would also have liked for the uni to ask us what kind of people we would like to live with so that we could have ended up in halls with people of similar interests.
