Queen's is an incredibly beautiful university to study at - it really feels like Hogwarts! The staff are so friendly and give us all the help and support we could need - both for university and also with mental health and any worries we might have outside of uni. There are amazing facilities, including our huge McClay library and a sports centre (gym, pool, climbing wall etc.) and separate facilities for each degree! We also have loads of resources available and amazing lecturers.

I love the way that even when a lot of other classes were online, our classes were always in person if they possibly could be. The teaching is very comprehensive and exciting and I love all our lecturers. We usually have around 8-10 hours of lectures every week, and we're supposed to do private study for triple that. We can meet with almost any lecturer whenever we want to, so it's really handy.

We have access to the McClay library which has been an amazing place to study and to get resources from. There have been rooms made available for us to do our classes with others on our course so that we can get to know some fellow students
Student support

There is a huge variety of student support available to us - I have felt very comfortable contacting my teachers and personal tutor with any problems I have. We have a teams call every semester one-on-one with our personal tutor.

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
When possible, we have our speaking classes in person which has been fantastic since many of my friends have been online all year! We have 10 teaching hours per week and I have a lot of contact with my teachers both during classes and via email. My teachers have all been great at replying quickly and extensively to me and have supported me so much throughout my first year.

We also have a fantastic careers department with lots of support for options we have after our degrees.
