The learning environment is conducive for long distance learner through a well developed platform(blackboard) .The lecturers and coordinators are supportive enough and even offer one on one engagements.

Contact hours with lecturers is 2 hours but also the on line engagements are up to date through blackboard , email, and teams

BEST ASPECTS: Culture exchanges: since I am living in Bangor, I have come to meet many people from different backgrounds and different countries. It's very enriching in term of sharing experience Social life: I have managed to join some few clubs and societies. This has helped me to make friends, participate in different events and make plenty of memories. Academic: Just as it is advertised at Bangor websites, lectures, field trip sessions and support from my department are of a very high quality. I am not disappointed. WORST ASPECTS Weather : I come from a more warmer region. The weather in Bangor is very different (cold) and sometime challenging. Academic : there is too much work to do in a very limited time or period. The educational system is also different from where I come from. But at least Bangor University is actually organizing sessions to help international students to adapt to the UK teaching system. WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED Student Union: I think that the students union should make sure that, apart what the University is doing to help international students, they regularly encourage students to get involved. They need to increase their engagement towards students.

Best aspects Focus : all lectures have clear objects and expectations. Staff: the staff are helping, willing to improve anything that can help students to get understand and learn more Worst: Time : Some sessions (practice) do not necessarily have enough time to allow student to practice and ask comprehensive questions.

Best aspects: The hall : is silent and calm, allowing students to works peacefully in their personal rooms. The location: Bryn Eithin where I am staying is ten minutes work to get the university and buildings where I almost have all my lectures. Least aspects: The maintenance team can be slow when needed but at least they always repair anything we need to be repaired.
