Coventry is a compact campus so all the buildings are close together and easy to find. The facilities are amazing and modern, particularly the health and life sciences building, which has a hospital ward simulation and a life-like house set-up for healthcare students. The hub is a great space for socialing and studying, with computers, printers, canteen area, cafe, bar, cinema, hairdressers, beanbags, and work spaces. The IT facilities are good, and having free printing credits is brilliant.
The library has good online resoucres to help with coursework and referencing. There is free access to textbooks and articles via Bibliu, which is really useful for coursework. Lecturers often link this to the reading list, so it saves having to buy lots of books.
The online platform, Aula, is easy to navigate. Pre-lecture work is posted here and slideshows are often posted before the lectures so you can prepare yourself. Lectures are usually recorded so you can catch up if you miss anything.
I have found my lecturers generally easy to contact and respond quickly. It is easy to ask questions on the online forum.
The social side of uni is also good, with lots of events from the students union, and societies - art / craft groups, bath bomb workshop with LUSH, therapy dogs, cat cafe, gardening. Unfortunately some of the societies have been virtual / stopped due to COVID, but I understand that there are plans for these to resume as normal soon.
I love Coventry city - there are loads of events, live music, art exhibits, festivals, markets, and street parades, especially for City of Culture. I definetely recommend Fargo villlage, Herbert Art gallery, Assembly Festival gardens, and Coventry Empire.
