The campus is convenient and features many places to eat such as Greggs and a vegan café, as well as 2 convenience shops, a pub at the SU and sports centre. Societies on campus are varied and have lots to offer, as well as student ran events such as board game nights and crafts. I find it easy to navigate, as well as the handy bus stops that can take you to the train stations, city centre and other campuses! Bristol is a great city to be a student, I'm spoilt for choice on weekend activities such as bowling, clubbing, gigs and more. I love the library on campus, and the DVD collection is amazing (as a film student, that is the key to my happiness) and I find myself studying there very often. Classes and lecturers are amazing here, and I'm excited to learn and attend lectures every week. When I was having flatmate problems, the student accommodation team was quick to help me move into a quieter flat. I feel as though my wellbeing is taken seriously at UWE and I feel safe and supported here. I wouldn't have picked any other university!

My course has varied modules and covers a broad range of topics in film. I feel challenged in my classes, and find the content to be engaging and enjoyable! Assignments allow me to delve into a chosen topic deeper and I have learned so much about the film industry, practices and possible career options in this degree! Lecturers are friendly and easy to talk to, they are helpful with emails and often organise extracurricular activities to enrich our university experience further. I enjoy the mix of online and in person classes, and think the balance is optimal for the way I learn best.

Accommodation on campus is optimal for access to classes, shops and library, as well as the bus stops into the city. I like the amenities and the rooms have a decent space for storage. I think the price is too steep for me personally, and will be glad to save some money in second year when I move out. I enjoy the convenience of not needing to travel to campus by bus, however the costs are too much for my budget. The accommodation staff are friendly and do regular checks of student wellbeing, as well as the cleaners and maintenance staff who take great care of the building and laundry areas.

Best part is the study rooms. They’re very well equipped and calming. Worst part is perhaps travel? The buses are very hit or miss.

Best part is the lecturers are very knowledgeable, the worst part is perhaps the lectures are very fast-paced and sometimes hard to keep up with.
