Moodle is the only negative thing I had to deal with. I’m sure there is better systems.

I’m not really sure, but the color grading module could have been better

- The noise gave me a very hard time. I understand that the management can’t do anything about the traffic noise, but why can’t they stop students from screaming all night?! I know there isn’t enough staff to control everything, which is because of financial reasons, but is this my problem? - The laundrette is just terrible! The washing machines and dryers are completely useless. - Weed has gone out of control. The management simply can’t do anything about it other than give warnings, which everyone thinks is a joke! - Bathrooms quality is VERY bad. - Noise isolation between rooms is zero. I can always hear what my roommates say or do all day and night. - Security guards do nothing but sit all night behind the reception playing with their phones! - Common area TV and playstation are broken since I ever moved here and I keep being told they’ll be repaired but they never are. - There is absolutely no air circulation in the flats, which is a hazard and disgusting. I saw a lot of negative reviews on some websites about Mclaren house, but I didn’t believe them. I said to myself that the university would never let things like these happen, but apparently I was wrong.

The location is great and the facilities are modern.

I wish that the course I'm in, which is for working people, offered a normal version for full-time students and had more taught classes.

I'm very happy with the halls'location, being both close to the uni and to the city centre. However, the kitchen could use serious maintenance works. No one seems to be bothered by anything as long as it somehow works. Moreover, the rooms would benefit from better lights considering that the natural light coming from the outside is insufficient, and the wall colour is not helping either.
