I have been a full time student here for 4 years and it's been the best thing I have ever done, I love Glyndwr university and photography, the staff are always ready to help and give support, there are great facilities such as a photography studio and darkroom as well as a print room and library as well as a cafe .

The university campus is small as well as classes. Lecturers can really get to know their students because of this and everyone is always included. As a person with social anxiety, I found that it is really easy to make friends here which really makes uni experience so much better. Can't really think of anything that could be improved and I'm really happy I chose and got into this university.

My course at the moment is taught 3 days a week with 3 hours each day. Most of the time we are doing practical work, for example, working with cameras, editing and recording audio, and working in podcast studios. I would say this is better than sitting writing notes for a couple hours every class as I had done at a previous university and prefer this method of practical teaching. Attendance isn't something I worry about because I love coming to each class.

I applied late for accommodation yet still managed to get my first choice room. The location is really convenient. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the train station and to my classes. There are loads of stores near the accommodation to buy any essentials you may need.
