The thing that has been the best about studying at the screen and film school for me has been the lectures and being able to gain insight about the industry through these professionals whilst forming relationships that could be beneficial for the future as well as just being good people and creating a fun working environment. I think the look of the building (especially interior) could maybe be improved a touch as it looks a little too corporate and doesn’t really reflect the environment we’re working in. Because it’s a smaller university it can also feel a bit more isolating as you don’t come across many people that you don’t already know.

I think we really do get the best from the course and the lectures when we put the work in ourselves. Obviously not every module will have a lecturer that fully embraces that as their responsibility and not everyone will be as passionate about it as you are but when the lectures have the ability to inspire you just through their own workshops it makes the whole experience really exciting.
