Great support for students

Good support from lecturers

I feel safe living in halls and it's very close to my uni building

Best aspects: Good location - lots of transport links - ferries, trains, busses (uni bus too), voi scooters, city bikes. Lots of good places to study and a good amount of shops as well Worst aspect : as portsmouth is a costal city the weather is a bit crazy some days,

Full time course, coursework, expected to be in working when timetabled to be and any remaining work uncompleted has to be done in own time otherwise you fall behind. Contact with lectures is good. Classes are not huge so at least once a day you are able to have tutorials with them. No online classes anymore - personal tutor catch ups would be the only online thing this year.

Safety was a slight concern when I was in 1st year. Rooms were a little small but kitchen space was massive. Great location - lots of food stores near by, close to gunwarf (15min walk min) , close to train station and backed out onto Victoria park which was a nice touch if your room faced that direction otherwise your room would face into the court yard area and wouldn't get any sun light all year if you were on the lower floors.
