The environment of the campus is stunning - the wildlife really makes a difference However I feel the building could be updated to have a more modern feel and not just have rooms with fold away chairs or tables: Computers on laps arent the best!

I have limited contact hours where the content learnt is minimal. The move to semesters has not reflected positively with my course Everything is in-person which I appreciate as I dislike zoom classes Our department is small and the connection with students is lost but i understand that the staff seem close knitted

Too expensive for the quality of the room and kitchen and catered food.

Campus buildings could do with updating, look quite old and run down but overall the campus is nice as it has the lake and lots of greenery. Difficult to find where to access student support, could be posters around campus telling people where to find support, for example.

I like how the Environment department have everything we need on the student admin hub, and it is easy to contact staff if we need help. Resources are easily accessible. Only occasionally have meetings with tutors so this could be improved to be more frequent however if I wanted an extra meeting I'm sure my tutor would be willing to do this.

York is great for students because it is small and safe with lots of activities to do.

Location was not the best as it is quite far away from the city centre and some parts of campus. There was some issues with maintenance, for example the whole year I lived there my radiator did not work once despite me reporting this and on several occasions we had no hot water so we had to get a shower in cold water, even in winter. The sinks would also block regularly.
