It is a small university which makes the experience and contact with lecturers very personal. The student support is great.

I love this uni so much I’m continuing on past my bachelors and doing a masters there. It’s been an amazing experience and really prepared me for the outside world

The labs are amazing with some great tech for ecological research. The library has all the key books and the online database has so many useful scientific journals

Lectures reply fast to emails. The help zone even provides a proof reading of assignments for anyone who asks for it. There are loads of counsellors on site as well for mental health issues. I have dyslexia personally and I find that this uni helps so much and deals really well.

This course is set out perfectly. It has a 60:40 coursework to exams ratio and each lecture is around 2-3 hours per module a week so in class time is efficient and gives time for personal study. The modules are amazing at providing a base foundation for eventually getting a job in ecology and they have relevant and interesting topics. This course has dealt with corona super well and online lectures are really engaging. Would highly recommend this course to someone who loves going out and doing fun fieldwork and practicals. The lecturers are amazing at giving advise and guiding you through each topic and assignment.
