The enough facilities support from school, like laptop, monitoring and others. It also provides free working time. The worst aspects is the horrible weather of Glasgow in winter

The iconic infrastructure and history make it feel very prestigious, and the student support from staff is really strong. My course is well-connected with a larger group of researchers globally and our academic cluster groups are a very enjoyable cohort to meet with regularly. What could be improved is the fact that some SciEng buildings suffer from this historic infrastructure and are not as fit for modern purposes (dusty, dirty, leaky, drafty).

My supervisors are supportive but are generally overworked with a lot of juggling of teaching and research taking place (though this is probably a systemic issue). My work placement was really helpful for connecting me with a broader network and has set me up with some great career fallbacks for after I graduate. The fieldwork facilities in Geography are really great and the technicians are amazing at maintaining these and helping out. The only drawback of the facilities are the buildings they're housed in (see previous note about tired old classrooms).
