Swansea is a great location with so many opportunities to get involved with outdoor sports. The course was flexible allowing me to follow my own research interests while still having the suport of my supervisors and use of the lab facilities at Swansea University.

Swansea university has a great location between the park and the beach plus only a 20 minute walk to town and regular buses to Gower

I am part of the Swansea University Mountaineering Club which has great regular meets as well as trips to other parts of the country and even abroad. The club along with Cardiff University Mountain club are pushing to become a variety sport. It would be nice to see more support from the university for compatitions between non team sports such as climbing.
