Excellent and enriching, make sure you complete the work on time and put the work in as this gives you the free time later and a lot less stress. Its very helpful to opening up new avenues for people .

Very positive! I have enjoyed my course so far, Newcastle is a great place to be and I have met many new people and made many new friendships that will hopefully last a long time!

An abundance of computer facilities is helpful for group work. The nicely furnished buildings make uni a nicer place to come to. They leave too many lights on when it's not necessary!

Newcastle is a great city, not too big, not too small, with lots of pedestrianized areas and quality eateries making it nice place to go out.

Lots of clubs and societies to choose from provides plenty of opportunities to get involved with activities you haven't got involved in much or at all before.

Plenty of field work opportunities are helpful in identifying what specific career path I may like to pursue in the future. Some lectures are a bit one-way, just listening to the lecturer talk for 2 hours, making it harder to stay focused than if there was more interaction in the lectures.

Emails from the University about placement opportunities have been helpful, along with the "Jobs Online" facility, which has also been helpful in finding potential placement opportunities. The "Careers Info & Job Search Drop-In" has been helpful in preparing my CV for placement applications too.
