There are many study spaces within the buildings, many of which are never loud. The clubs and societies are free, which means you can try out a lot of new activities

The lectures are always interesting, and you get to meet a variety of lecturers from across the schools. The timetable is different every week which does make outside commitments difficult to organise.

The broad range of modules people staying in halls made it so you met people outside your course from day 1. The halls did become a bit noisy in the evenings, but that was to be expected. During the exam periods, there were signs put in place to notify about the noise levels.

Location and university facilities are perfect. Its a quiet city where I have not encountered any problems with while living there. If you do get bored of the quietness of the city it is a cheap train ticket from Llandudno and Chester. University buildings are not the best presented and are dotted around the area so can sometimes be hard to get to specific lectures depending where you do live but other than that a brilliant university and place.

Lecturers are top quality in Bangor and have yet to meet one that has caused me any problems with my degree. The content in the course is up to date and relevant providing us a good knowledge of whatever subject we choose to pursue. Lectures are mainly in person with only ever taking a few online due to my small class size. However I do believe that increasing Tutor contact time would benefit the overall university experience while at Bangor.

surrounded by Snowdonia national park it is great for anyone who loves nature walks, hiking, climbing or anything of that nature public transport can be hard to get used to but when you do you are able to visit many gorgeous places.

Compared to student housing Halls is quite expensive with my weakly payment to live near city centre being £94 including bills a weak while the cheapest halls that are available is £115 while being out of the way in Ffriddoedd village. However safety is impeccable as I never encountered any problems while living in halls and never felt like I would. Repair time fluctuates greatly however I find that this is the case in most student accommodation.
