I love LSHTM. My experience is a bit different because I am a part time student. London is a great place to be a student because there is always something to do outside of campus but downsides being expensive. The location of LSHTM is great, right in the centre of London, UCL is close, senate house is across the road so you can get a nice study session in the library. There are also loads of study spaces at the school itself. There are loads of parks close as well so it’s nice to go there when the weather is nice for a break during the day. Only downsides is we don’t have a dedicated students Union but nonetheless there are still ways to socialise, get into uni life and get support if needed.

Public Health is taught via a mixture of online and in person classes but this is dependent on the modules you are taking. This method of teaching allows for flexibility in your schedule. There is also a wealth of resources you have access to and people will often share useful things on groupchats. Lecturers are always willing for you to contact them and our seminars help practically apply knowledge.

Excellent quality of teaching and a wide range of modules available. Glad I chose this university over Imperial College MPH. The campus itself is well located but a lot of the rooms are in the basement and the lecture theatres are cramped!

Almost all in person, lots of contact hours depending on module choices. Lecturers are accessible and easy to talk to.
