The campus is great, the lake is perfect for bringing wildlife and nature to the campus. The facilities and staff are great and dedicated to helping you get the most out of your degree. The wider town of Reading doesn't offer a lot to students but is well connected to other places. Students union is active and helpful. It is a bit repetitive and mainly caters to one type of student. There is a good range of societies but from my personal experience they could be better supported.

The course has a great range of lectures, practicals and trips which has really benefitted my learning and helped keep me fully engaged. The content varies greatly, and there is a lot of optional choices. This is positive because you can explore different interests but can mean it's difficult to relate the content to a career. There has been little personal support or information for finding a placement.

The halls were well cleaned and well looked after. The facilities were basic but serviceable. Staying in halls is convenient but I wouldn't say it's good value for money.

Easy to find and meet different people from a variety of places and counties which allow you to get to know different opinions and experiences. Also with the lecturers being friendly to approach and talk to

It has a range if different learning methods also it has a nice amount of field trips along with having classroom and lab based working styles. This is also backed up with some online quizes and other assessments too

It was good to have it as it was catered so didn't have to cook but the fact the food was at a time which wasn't always convenient it meant sometimes being forced to eat when otherwise would want to wait or be doing other activities. It was also off campus compared to a lot of the other different halls meaning walking to campus for lectures
