The area is very pretty, there are many people that offer support and I enjoy my time here. However food is expensive and it would be nice if there was a shop like simply fresh at Manor Park.

Lectures are interesting and lecturers are kind. Some modules could be a bit more engaging. Presentations shouldn’t be a requirement if someone feels uncomfortable doing them.

I enjoy spending time with my flat mates. The rooms are very comfortable and It feels like a second home. We have many issues with things like our tap leaking and the rooms being very cold. My flatmates shower leaks a lot and maintenance have not done anything to fix it, even after being emailed many times.

Student support has been amazing, always checking up on you and easy access to support for a variety of different things. The University is close to town and supermarket and only a short train ride home for me so personally a good location. The Student Union runs lots of events which are fun and inventive, things which are exciting to attend which have clearly needed a lot of planning and thought. The only thing I would say is (and this doesn't apply to every society) but some of the societies feel quite cliquey so it can be difficult to integrate yourself into some of the societies.

The course has been really good and interesting so far. The lecturers are enthusiastic and always very willing to answer questions or explain things that I haven't quite understood. There isn't a lot of set contact time with your personal tutor but I think if you needed the extra support you could easily arrange some more.

The halls have been a relatively good experience. The facilities themselves have been pretty good, the only thing was that the stove has broken twice now and it has taken quite a long time for someone to come out and fix it (approx 1- 2 weeks) which has made cooking a bit difficult. Otherwise no real complaints, I think the experience in halls is often dependent on who you get placed with which is almost completely out of your control. Generally everyone is quite respectful, but not very sociable so I would have liked to have been in a more social flat.
