even though it’s so huge there is a community feel and the student union puts in great events. worst is the strikes as the staff are not paid enough/not enough job security (i support the strikes but wish the uni would listen to the staff)

good content at times and passionate lecturers worst is lack of support

was a really nice and modern halal worst part was the cost - very expensive

My course isn’t the best organised, but I am having a really fun time here. The people are lovely and the lecturers, seminar leaders and academic advisors have been really welcoming and supportive, and I feel like I can go to them with any problems that I have. Some of the societies that I joined never actually got back to me or don’t have much going on, but apart from that I really am having a great time in Manchester.
