Queen Mary has a great campus life, students are more friendly and welcoming as opposed to competitive as it is with other universities in London. Worst aspect would be having to attend uni during Covid and not feeling like I got to experience the full extent to university life.

The electronics labs are really good, never any shortages on components and everything is easy to use and the lecturers, lab demonstrators and lab technicians are always willing to help whenever they can. The only thing I’m not the biggest fan of is student life, most people commute (I also commute) so a lot of people dont really focus much on socialising, which isnt an issue but when it comes to having some downtime at uni where there isnt enough time to go home, it does get a bit lonely. Other than that the actual learning experience is really nice

The course hours are good, I’m not much of an early morning person so I really appreciate the fact that most of my lectures and labs arent that early. My lecturers are really helpful they explain things really well and respond to any emails. I like the balance between online and in person in my course, with all lectures/labs being in person (ofcourse can watch lectures online after) and some assessments being online
