Brunel is a fantastic and diversified university. It’s located far west of London, that’s great in a sense that housing is not as expensive as would be in central london, but then there is about an hour journey to central london. Student unions and societies at Brunel are super active, with events literally every week on anything, and everything! The campus is concentrated, and you can get to any department seamlessly. It has a remarkable library, a fantastic sports center, and lab facilities.

The academics are super responsive and take responsibility very seriously. That’s fantastic, as for a PhD student you won’t feel lost or alone. The future career and outlook is a bit hazy, maybe for everyone in the society. But the university doesn’t really offer anything practical to help make the leap from uni to the industry.
