I have recently started at UoY after taking a year out from studying and I can definitely say that York has been so welcoming and supportive in my return to education. The university itself always has someone willing to help you with whatever you need and the support that is available is excellent. I feel that the extra support and services available to students should be communicated better and in a more clear way.

I have recently started my PhD at York and feel that there are lots of facilities that I can use. Firstly, I am a commuting student and having access to a student social area and kitchen is great for me! My course itself is blended with campus facilities available for when I need to attend face to face meetings and events.

The location is brilliant and all lectures and seminars are close by so when tight on time, it’s not far to travel from one place to another The prices for the shops on campus are horrifically expensive eg. Nisa

Very modern and good value for money. Good committee Side gates should be able to open with card access
