The university has been really helpful and supportuve in my phd journey, especially as a PhD student whose work is very independent. Particularly the education department has been excellend with its communication and provisions. It's a shame that university won't pay its staff accordingly leading to staff striking.

Loved the methods courses and currently benefiting from academic practice course too. I like its flexibility in being hybrid.

My university supervisors are amazing! In fact, all of the staff members I have met so far have been incredibly helpful and supportive. The education and graduate departments are well organised and inclusive, additionally there is always something going on that students can be involved in, if they wish. I am finding the Power, Identity and Education research cluster particularly helpful. I am really enjoying my time at the university and would highly recommend it to everyone.

It has been beneficial for me to have the choice of attending online or in person. I have really enjoyed all of the online 'Core Qualitative' module sessions with all the materials available online before the live seminars meant that I could make the most of the live time with the lecturer.
