It’s such a friendly campus! All the lecturers are so supportive and brilliant. It could be improved by adding more student activities and life!

It’s quite rundown in places

Such a great uni; inclusive, supportive and welcoming. I started as a masters student in 2018 and haven’t left as I’m now doing a PhD! All the lecturers are really helpful and encouraging and all the students I’ve met are really friendly. There’s lots of social opportunities to meet and connect with other students too. I did my undergraduate degree remotely but it’s so nice to now be part of a student community. I can’t recommend the university highly enough so if you’re still not sure, why not come along and see us at one of our open days 🙂

The best part is the supervisory team. They are always there to hel, support, encourage and guide me. The masters course was geared up for working students as lectures were scheduled for the evenings or weekends but for PhD students they really need to be available during the day.this was hard to balance in my first years when I was working set days and studying on free days but inevitably I missed out on some workshops which was quite frustrating. However, if you had a more flexible job or worked in the evenings then this wouldn’t be a problem.

No
