Uni is very good good social life as it’s small so you get to know everyone quickly and really well so making friends and having a support group is really easy. It being small also means you get more 1-1 support you don’t just become a number. There isn’t much night life but us students are great at creating our own night life with parties and events at the SU! There are greta job opportunities and so many clubs and societies for all interests.

Course is taught face to face, only had online lectures during full lockdowns, the lecturers got back to face to face as quickly as possible. Some leniency was even given with assignments over the lockdown period. Tutors still offer teams meetings for people as they can be easier and less time consuming than going into uni. You can arrange meetings face to face or over teams with your academic advisors when you like on a monthly basis even if you wish.

The location is lovely as it’s next to the coast, you have bognor beach right next to bognor campus and west and east wittering beach a 20 minute drive or bus away. The uni offers a free inter campus bus that stops at halls and Westgate leisure centre. There are a lot of upper class elderly people but with the student population it’s a nice mix. Housing and shopping is expensive so budgeting is important. There is shops like Iceland and Poundland that do make it more affordable and you can buy fruit and veg at the market on market days.

Westagate was off campus, near two leisure centres and a short walk from town. There is also a bus stop right out side so getting to campus is easy. They have en-suite rooms which is nice for students first moving in. There is round the clock security of you get locked out or need parcels and things like that.
