My experience at university has been great so far, the pandemic has changed the dynamics of learning but the university has catered to that. However, the learning isn’t the same as it used to be. I can not wait for everything to go back to normal :)

I do frequently go to the library due to having issues with my laptop over the past couple of weeks and there are numerous computer facilities around available to students. The layout is also a lot more spacious now as there are 2 missed computers between each person. There are also a lot of resources available to students and the areas are always clean :)

There are well-being officers and groups students can contact which is great! They do tend to reply a bit later now due to the increase volume of messages they must be receiving but nevertheless there is support if you need it.

With the current situation, everything is now being taught online. Lectures can tend to feel long but with giving myself breaks it’s easier to manage. During the seminars, most individuals don’t participate and i do prefer it face to face.

I regularly get emails displaying the job or placement opportunities that are available to me, they are also very easy to apply to. In the education department we do get guest speakers where we can discuss more career options.
