Studying at the University of Aberdeen has been a genuinely rewarding experience. The campus blends history with a modern, welcoming atmosphere, and the teaching feels personal—lecturers actually take the time to help you understand and grow. Aberdeen itself is a calm, friendly city with plenty of places to study, explore, or unwind. What I appreciate most is the balance: strong academics, supportive staff, and a community that makes you feel at home while pushing you to become your best. That said, there are a few things that could be improved, like having more streamlined communication around events and offering additional support for transport to off‑campus activities. Small changes like these would make the student experience even smoother.

The MBA (Business Analytics) has been a really valuable program for me. It combines solid business fundamentals with practical analytical skills, so you’re not just learning concepts—you’re actually applying them to real data and real decisions. The lecturers are supportive and approachable, and the mix of group work, case studies, and hands‑on projects makes the learning feel relevant and engaging. If anything could be improved, it would be adding more industry‑focused workshops or guest speakers to give even deeper insight into how analytics is used in different sectors. But overall, the course builds confidence and gives you a strong foundation for data‑driven roles.
