The best part about this university is its location and student services. Their services provide fast and helpful support no matter the problem, whether it’s forgetting to pay parking or struggling with registering for modules.
The location is kept well and peaceful, the campus has loads of space.
One thing I will say is that the parking spaces are scarce after 9am, but I think this encourages many students to cycle or take the bus, which is more sustainable for the environment.
The students union could do with some work as it’s fairly rundown and there also isn’t much prevalence of the union in the university - never seems to be anything happening with it.
Student Life is amazing, there are many societies especially in sports, everyone is friendly and the campus is a happy place.

The course I am on is excellent, all the lecturers have plenty contact time and are easy to approach. The set up of classes is good, with quite a lot of interactive time and a mix of essays, exams, class tests and group work which keeps assignments interesting.
The classes for this course aren’t particularly big which is nice as it makes it easy to get to know everyone in the class.
All my classes are in person which is what I prefer.
I didn’t apply for internships through the university but by myself - summer after third year I completed an internship at Barclays and I am returning there after I graduate for a graduate job in auditing . This shows this course can lead you in to a good career in finance/ accounting if you wish.
