Studying at the University of South Wales, Cardiff Campus has been one of the most enriching phases of my life. The campus sits right in the heart of Cardiff city, which gives it a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. Everything from cafes and libraries to cultural spots is just a short walk away. One of the biggest strengths of USW Cardiff is the industry-focused teaching. The lecturers are supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in students’ growth. Many of them bring real-world experience into the classroom, which makes learning feel practical and relevant. The creative facilities are also a huge highlight. For media, design, film, music, and performance students, the equipment and studios are top-notch. You really feel like you’re preparing for your future career from day one. On top of that, the student community is warm and diverse. It’s easy to make friends, join societies, and feel like you truly belong. Although everything is fine and well but few aspects could be focused I think which will be better for international students. when an international student comes from his country he doesn't know anything about the city. he feels alone as he has no friends here. only way and excitement thing is welcome fest for him but he or she doesn't get any new friends their also. so, I think if peer support and targeted cultural event be implemented more with local students and the student who comes from his country those students already exist here from his country at the campus, then the student won't feel homesick I think he will find some friends. As well as study more cultural and peer support network event could be worth. one more thing better communication: Sometimes updates on timetables, room changes. More support for international students Although support is good overall, extra guidance on part-time jobs, housing, and more cultural program would make the transition even smoother.

Studying MSc Digital Marketing at the University of South Wales, Cardiff Campus has been one of the most rewarding academic experiences for me. The classes are highly engaging and practical, focusing on real industry skills rather than just theory. Our lecturers bring a wealth of professional experience, and their teaching style makes complex digital marketing concepts feel clear, relevant, and exciting. Each session feels dynamic, whether we are analysing consumer behaviour, creating content strategies, or exploring tools like Google Analytics and social media advertising platforms. What I appreciate most is how the course connects us to real-world marketing challenges, encouraging us to think creatively, work collaboratively, and apply what we learn to practical scenarios. The classroom environment is friendly, diverse, and supportive, allowing us to exchange ideas with students from different backgrounds. Overall, this course has helped me grow academically and professionally, giving me the confidence and skills needed to build a successful career in digital marketing.
