Leeds Beckett University is an amazing place to study - it is easy to get to using public transport and car, all staff are friendly and helpful and very supportive, the campus is spotless and tidy, all facilities are easily accessible. I don't think anything could be improved!

The course is a part time apprenticeship and we spend one day a week in class at the University, a day in practice as a supernumerary staff member and then the rest of our working hours in our substantive post. When not at University the staff are easily accessible to ask for support via email mainly and I couldn't ask for more.

Facilities are fantastic. Plenty of toilets, coffee shops and restaurants and I think it's fantastic how they provide microwaves so you can warm your own food up. I feel the cleanliness of the toilets let the uni down. Especially the ones by the gaia cafe and in rosebowl restaurant. The location is perfect. A 12 minute walk from the train station. And close to bus routes and a car park. The campus has a really modern and new feel to it. The class rooms and lecture theatres are mostly well equipped. I feel proud to be studying here. Student support is generally good. However, there have been time myself and colleagues have had to weight too long for support and feedback. Student life is hard to score when you're only in uni 2 days a week, working 2 days a week and looking after a young family as well. Overwhelming springs to mind. I have never used the Student Union therefore only scored it a 3.

I find all the tutors very interesting to listen to and they are very knowledgeable about their subject areas. Sometimes get conflicting messages from tutors though.
