The university is a great working environment with support from staff and great facilities and utilities.

The Graphics department at Cardiff Met is run by a dedicated and hardworking team who go above and beyond the support offered on a lot of other courses. There is an excellent range of workshops available across all disciplines and the print studio is especially helpful and dedicated.

Privately owned halls allocated to us via the university - they were fairly average university halls and the staff were kind but didn't seem very motivated. The rooms were fine but the common room for the flat was not well maintained - the building would have benefited from spaces where people from different flats to socialise.

Really do enjoy the course, lovely lecturers, nice trips that we were offered previous to COVID, fun tasks/brief. Shame that we were restricted of being taught new skills and going on trips. There could have been so much more to the course if it wasn’t for covid. Majority of the students havent been into the university since march 2020.

Work spaces are fully accessible to all students. Space and equipment is clean.

We are given a personal tutor that we may talk to about issues from the course and we are supplied with easy straight forward access to student services.

Course has struggled a big being online. The submission dates have been poorly organised by causing many students to struggle completing quality work and give each hand in equal amount of attention. The lecturers of the course itself have been helpful, understanding and encouraging. The only criticism fellow students will make is being behind on creative skills that we would have been taught if we weren’t in the current COVID circumstances. There could have been better efforts in carryibg out safe in person teaching. Studio space is available to book, however if you find yourself stuck its a lot harder to recieve help and support.
