Facilities for my course specifically are all very modern and up to date the one thing I would like improving is the library. It is too small for the amount of students which use it especially during the the day. Location couldn’t be better in the middle of the city within walking distance of the sea. Campus look and feel would be better but since I have been a student there’s constantly construction work going on and blocked off access down some streets to enter/leave campus which is inconvenient. Our student union is amazing but lacks some funding to support sports teams in particular with not enough sports hall space to cater for every team

Regarding lecturers and teaching quality the presentation slides are not always uploaded on time with our lectures and often get cancelled at short notice which is inconvenient for our learning. The course content fits in with everything we need to know spaced around our clinic times however some content used is outdated with new guidelines which needs correcting. Our placements on clinic are amazing allowing us to have our own patients by the end of year 1 and facilities are all available and modern for our use.

Cheapest halls offered at the university. Located across the road from campus within the student village. Appalling safety, front door opened with a fob could be yanked open if you pulled hard enough allowing anyone to enter and fall asleep in the corridor including non-students. The room doors could be unlocked without the fob too by threading a wire through the gap under the door and pulling the handle down from the inside so never felt safe. Complained to the halls team about these issues and were never resolved in my time there so management cannot be that great. Only one 4 drawer freezer for a flat of 6 not great especially when every other flat in the building has 2. WiFi was excellent though.

The sports facilities could be a lot better. There is not a sufficient gym and there is one sports hall only. We have to travel far to go to good sports facilities. Really good student life and the student union put on really good events.

The dental school facilities are amazing and brand new. The supervisors/ lecturers and great role models and mentors.

It was a bit shabby in terms of the inside decor and sometimes the location felt a bit unsafe but overall really liked it .
