The campus is quite nice, lots of buildings, places to eat and easy to navigate. I think for my course the recent news of Southend closing along with the 1 year therapy course being cancelled has been slightly disruptive. Also I think it would be nice for our course to have an end of term/year ball/prom like other universities as there isn’t really anything in place to bring us together.

I think with the teaching it’s good but there is a lot of content and a lot of self teaching needs to
be done.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
I’m very happy with my accommodation, I don’t think we have been having a cleaner for the kitchen weekly, only the bins get changed and that’s it but other than that, no complaints.

Lecturers are supportive, having a personal tutor relieves pressure and gives students someone to contact.
Lectures are three hours long which can be quite overwhelming with difficult topics.

Lectures are back to in-person teaching which, personally, is better than online. Oral health science has a laboratory with phantom heads to assist practical learning, the facilities for this are very good.
