Leeds Beckett University is an excellent choice for studying due to its central location, welcoming student community, and practical, career-oriented courses. The university offers numerous sports clubs, societies, and social opportunities, and Leeds is a vibrant and affordable city for students. To enhance the experience, the university could work on maintaining consistent teaching quality, improving communication clarity from staff, providing quicker feedback on assignments, and offering more affordable accommodation options.

The course is mainly taught through a mix of in-person lectures and seminars with some online materials to support learning. Teaching is mostly interactive, with group work and practical tasks helping to apply what we learn. Contact with lecturers is generally good, with regular office hours and email support, although response times can vary. Course hours feel manageable, but there could be more structured support sessions and clearer guidance on assessments.

It would help a lot if the Headingley campus expanded study spaces to reduce overcrowding during exam season. Other than that, I love the campus. Most of the professors are approachable and kind. As a suggestion. I would love to see more social spaces and private areas in Headingley campus, where students can either study, hang out, or chill during class break time.

I would suggest adding an additional hour to the practical lab sessions for the Data Analysis and Visualization (DAV) module. This would allow more time to write Python scripts and delve deeper into machine learning algorithms. I also hope that lecturers could provide more in-depth explanations of Python algorithms during the practical classes to enhance understanding. Other than that, I truly enjoy my experience studying MSc Data Science at Leeds Beckett University (LBU). The course offers excellent resources and opportunities to develop valuable skills in data science.
