As a mature student of 44 years old and with caring responsibilities, I have a different experience to an average undergraduate. However, I have found mixing with students of all ages and across disciplines to be straightforward and rewarding at Sussex. The library is the facility I use most although I find everything accessible and both staff and faculty helpful and welcoming. Some of the administrative facilities I have found to be over-burdened and prone to mistakes and lack of clarity and consistency, but I am aware all HE institutions are under financial pressure and Sussex is no exception.

I have very much enjoyed all my modules. All have been taught in person and resources made available digitally afterward. I have had no problem contacting and meeting with tutors, who are always concerned with making themselves as available and helpful as possible.
