Lots of support from tutors and staff, great facilities and opportunities all around campus.

My lecturers have been very interactive within lectures and through email when offering assistance. Amazing course content and facilities to develop as a criminologist.

I really enjoy how close it is to my hometown. It allows me to maintain my family relationships and still work part time. I enjoy the facilities that allow me to study independently but also access help if needed. I would suggest that one of my only negative experiences has been multiple teachers in one term for a single module. This issue has made that module in particular frustrating for me. Other than that cannot fault the uni.

I have enjoyed the opportunities to use blended learning- allows me to have other commitments. I have enjoyed the general course hours and think that the internship opportunities have been great. Although the careers team offer help for career prospects, i think a little more out reach work to build potential career pathways for students would be more helpful. I personally have also not had much tutor personal contact time. Teaching quality on a whole is great, but i have experienced multiple lecturers for a single module over a space of 3 weeks- i have not been told the reason for this but it ultimately meant that replacement lecturers are going over content already covered & also we are having to adapt our learning to different lecturer’s style of teaching- this has meant i am teaching myself content & worrying me about the upcoming exam.

Great diversity, pretty good links to local cities, excellent cost of living, and great safety. I have not experienced great graduate employment opportunities, but going 10-20 miles away does scope for more opportunities.
