The campus is beautiful. Its nice to be so close to the city (20 minute tram ride) yet surrounded by greenery. The buildings are also well designed, particularly Monica Partridge and George Green. All the buildings on University Park campus are within walking distance which makes a day on campus easy. The libraries have a range of study spaces and I enjoy doing my work in there both with friends and individually. I do feel there could be more student support offered, and it is very much you have to reach out to them rather than services being accessible to you, but this is something I can see they are actively working on. Also the campus is on a hill so you will definitely get those steps in.

In first year my lectures were online due to Covid-19. However, this year my lectures and seminars are in person which makes them much more engaging and enjoyable, and has also allowed me to make more friends. I often email my tutors to ask questions about the content or upcoming assessments. They are really helpful; some will offer online meetings to talk with you, whilst others will provide details via email. They are approachable and happy to help.

Broadgate Park is an amazing off-campus self-catered hall. It is on the edge of West Entrance, with a 15 minute walk to the gym and to the closest library. I was in a block of 6 flats, and everyone was really sociable so we used to go out in larger groups. It is daunting at first but you just have to push yourself to socialise and you'll be fine. If there were any faults or concerns, you could report these via an app and then the maintenance team would come out to sort it. The cleaner also came once a week which was nice.

The campus is lovely, the lake is amazing to walk around in summer. However, the strikes have disrupted the uni experience massively

At no point do the lecturers talk about how a specific module could link to a specific career path and i am still confused as what i can do when i leave university.

The travel networks are great there are so many ways to get around.

The food was good, the location was good but covid kind of ruined it.
