Uclan really is a great place to study with outstanding student support from lecturers. I have found my experience so far to have filled me with no doubt about my choice to study at Uclan. I feel seen and heard by all my lecturers and they make a conscious effort to ensure that all students are aware of where and how to get help if needed. My only criticism of Uclan would be that as gorgeous as the student union and engineering buildings are, there are a couple of buildings that are well overdue an upgrade. My main example of this would be the Livesey building in which I have most of my lectures in.

I am happy with the way that my course is taught with all lecturers ensuring that the vast majority of lectures are in person, and for those who can’t join us on that day are allowed to join a teams call so they do not fall behind. My course hours are very manageable with me being able to study and have a part-time job.

I have had a positive experience at iQ Kopa, so much so that I have booked again for next year. I very much like the way that they allocate rooms, as you get to pick through their website the exact room that you want to have and where it is in the building. I feel very safe and secure as the halls are gated and can only be opened with a fob that is only given to those that live here. My only criticism would be the issues with hot water. I believe that they have just changed the boiler so that the showers are cold very frequently, I do not think that this is acceptable with the price that we are paying to live here.
