Being able to complete my degree in the comfort of my own home whilst also working full time is great, especially in the current pandemic as I don’t have to worry about protecting myself and others around me like I would if I attended university like many others do.

My overall experience with The Open University has been positive. I personally find that it is much more convenient to be able to study at a time that best suits me and tutorials are well organised. Although it is distanced learning, The Open University provide a forum to communicate with others on the same course so students don’t feel isolated. I’m really happy with my decision to study with The Open University and the support I have received has been brilliant. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in this academic year, tutorials have remained online and tutors have always been available to offer support and guidance. I would definitely definitely recommend studying with The Open University and I look forward to continuing my studies in the future.

I have not ever attended face to face tutorials, books and any additional items needed to complete the course are promptly delivered.

Access to mental health support is very good, it is very easy to get in contact with The Open University and advisors have always been friendly.

The tutorials are online and are provided in the morning and evening to fit around other commitments. Also, some tutorials are recorded so you’re able to listen back at a convenient time. Tutors are very helpful and available to help when required.
