I like that the campus is all together, and that you’re 5 minute walk from the city centre.

this year there has been a lot of strike action, however some are taught online to help up with the content so we do not miss out.

It’s very easy to make friends and these halls you were with people from uni of Leicester.

The university in itself is a great space, academically and socially! There are lots of places around university to study, and there is support in all faculties if needed. I have enjoyed the location of campus being near the centre and the facilities the student union create for students are great! The only downfall is, in a large course such as Criminology, I do feel students are not heard enough, even through student reps and as a third year, balancing and maintaining a good balance is hard and there is a lack of support in some areas.

Considering year 1 and 2 were in lockdown, the university handled it well being online for the majority of the time. I do believe as being a third year and not having proper teaching more support should be given to us, and assignment deadlines being so close to when dissertations are due is hard, and I do wish there was more time between assignments. Contact hours with lecturers and dissertation supervisors is good and I cant fault the lecturers in themselves.

For what I paid for a private student accommodation I was pleasantly surprised. The location was good, facilities in the halls, security and receptionist staff always on hand to help! Only thing I would change is how expensive circuit laundry is!!
