Everyone is so supportive and you feel a sense of community there. I moved from another university and Essex is everything I could want for the experience of university. Lecturers are so nice and dedicated to their students succeeding. The events and variety of them could be improved on as the social calendar can sometimes be lacking.

Lecturers always make time for you. In class learning is always personal as classes are small, and you feel you have the chance to share your ideas. It would be nice to have more course hours as you can often feel like you have a lot of independent learning to do where you can get off track.

The environment is very nice and staff are friendly but I feel as though there could be more to do on campus.

Some classes are still taught online so it removes the social aspect that comes with in person teaching, which is a big part of coming to university.

A few things have broken since being here such as oven, showers etc. which is odd considering it’s a brand new build. But other than that is still nice and a good value for money.
