The facilities are brilliant! The only improvement I can think of is by permitting extra-curricular access to students on any pathway, after they have been properly inducted.

I think all courses could benefit from an optional supplementary module on Industry and Academia: post-study options, approaching PhDs, academic writing and research skills, etc.

i’ll admit, i was feeling incredibly worried after moving to Leeds for the first time. I mostly thought i’d be feeling quite alone. However, the reality was the opposite. Leeds Arts found me supported and engaged within classes, extra-curricular activities, societies and most of all, student-life! The welfare support is astounding, and nothing but welcoming. After the stress of moving and balancing my work life, Leeds Arts has been nothing but attentive. Feedback in sessions and masterclasses are regular and consistent, meaning communication is absolutely a must for Leeds Arts university. Never have i seen such a responsive facility between students and faculty. It truly has been a blast being here. My only complaint is the hill i have to walk up from my accommodation to get there!

Everything we’re taught is not only in the classroom. In fact, outside of it, teachers are more than happy to respond to messages and feedback with the hour! Great flexibility and i find that anytime i want to arrange a meeting and speak to staff, i’m always welcome to. Feedback is regular and communication is wonderful. The course is always interesting, we’re being taught in person, and there is no question that you are free to interject at any given time if you are confused, need help or want anything to be elaborated another time. Everything is easily accessible on the university website as Power-points and information regarding lectures are regularly updated.

In IQ student accommodation, it’s only a 10 minute walk from Leeds Arts University and a 5 minute walk from the nearest grocery store - so all essentials are easily a couple of minutes away! Wifi is secure and i’ve never encountered issue with it. Moreover, it’s truly incredible how regular check-up are incorporated here! i find that if something is broken and needs a quick fixing, IQ is happy to do it in no time. Safety is guaranteed as there are cameras to help you feel safe, as well as on-site staff. The social area is free access to all! i am a regular. My only issue being that prices are quite high. And as a student, I’d appreciate a cheaper option. This does not mean i have any regrets picking my accommodation however, just wish i’d picked a smaller room!
