Tutors are supportive when approached and the students union have loads of events, there’s a lot to keep yourself busy and the societies are helpful to meet people. Little things could improve it such as personal tutors could reach out to students to make sure everything is okay, microphones for lectures could work. Overall, I would recommend the University.

The course was taught with 2 days in person, one online for the first five weeks then it changed to all in person which I find much better. Any module I’ve done online has had students feeling like they’re being talked to and there isn’t much want to engage. We could definitely be in more because altogether I’m in for lectures 8 hours a week which isn’t much for me.

Its right next to Manchester so theres lots to do with friends or on your own, including entertainment, food, and shopping. As an international student I feel that student support is severely lacking (I have been threatened with deportation for an issue that A) wasn't my fault and B)didn't even really exists in the first place. The tutors are great and the students are welcoming, its just the admin people that are lacking.

Most of the lecturers are great and engaging, as well as being incredibly supportive and welcoming. I enjoy the majority of my classes.

The reception people are great if you live in the main building, but if you don't theres almost never anyone at the help desk. The maintenance team is quick in response time. Having an ensuite room for the price I paid was great, and the room itself was comfortable despite it being the cheapest available room.
