I have found the experience really positive. Although covid has impacted my time there, I wouldn't change it for the world. The course has been interesting, engaging and honed in my career prospects. I now know what I want to do, where I want to work and how I'm going to go about it, so there's not really much more I can ask for! I would recommend Worcester to anyone and think the course is so important and can help save lives.

The city campus university site is easily accessible from town and the train station. It is small and pretty, but the rooms are big, clean and set up with a big screen and small TVs around the room so you don't have to strain your eyes.

We get emails weekly about the support that is available to us. I haven't had to use it, but it seems like there's a lot available.

Our course is blended learning, meaning we have some contact days at university and some days at home doing online learning activities. This allows for professionals to still be able to access the course making it accessible for all.

Every week we get information about a career presentation that will be taking place online for students who want to join. On my course, we also have guest speakers who come in to talk to us.

Worcester University is expansive and has plenty of campus', resources and support. Unfortunately as a mature student within a partner college, I have not had the desired experience that you would expect. Whether this is capability of our Course Lead or lack of support to our staff from the college/University, I don't know but I am not enjoying my second year, which is a real shame. No-one listens to the issues our cohort have put forward, they are excused or passed around, never really getting resolved. Again, not sure if this is the experience of partner college working but either way, University of Worcester provide this course so it is a reflection on them directly. That said, I love the Uni and it's provision, location and the staff that I've come across have been lovely.

We have had a change in staff recently, not really sure they know what they're doing as I've hardly learnt anything in my second year and feel like I'm winging it. Fingers crossed for a pass!
