I was based on the Lampeter Campus. Fantastic course and lecturers. Some parts are okay and could do better (admin for one) but overall a good little uni. Perfect for someone who wants to go to Uni but doesn't want to be swamped by a big city and large numbers. Lots of societies and some good nights out (Lampy students know how to party)

Better internet access after they installed the WiFi but it can still have teething problems. Library is good just sometimes wish it had longer opening hours. There is large amount of online resource access which is helpful. Careers are good and helpful. Admin (bit iffy but are okay)

There is plenty of support for those who need it. I haven't needed to use it myself but from other people it is useful. Support from both the University itself and the SU

Student Union varied in the three years I was there. First year - didn't really need to use the facilities. Second year - not the best (I realise that there were people stretched across various campuses but not fantastic) Third Year - they brought in a new system meaning that there was a president and vice president on each campus and a group president overseeing the whole operation. This made it so much better. Also the SU bar was taken over by a company who have settled in really well and are good at making big nights for a small campus. They know what the students want and they pull it off really well.

Its a small Welsh town....its not going to be amazing. However, the SU are getting better at putting on events and the student don't let the small size bring them down. They party hard. It is the only nightclub in the town but its good. In the town itself there are lots of pubs all down one street (excellent for pub crawls and society nights out) All within walking distance so no need for expensive taxies.

For a small campus there are a wide range of clubs and societies. A lot of people are part of more than one society so you get to meet loads of new people from all years and not feel swamped. There is something for everyone.

Absolutely loved my course (modern historical studies) and the lecturers are brilliant. Can sometimes feel a bit samey but never thought I would come to a small town in Wales and end up studying American and Chinese History. Also opportunities to do modules in other subject areas such as religion and anthropology. The lecturers are always helpful and so easy to talk to. Because Lampeter is such a small campus, you get to know your lecturers and they get to know you. They are always there to talk to.

Careers service is okay. They do offer help after you have graduated and there are often email detailing jobs etc.

Its cheap and its okay. Not the best accommodation ever but it works for what you pay for it. All the rooms are workable in and clean and tidy. Also there is ample parking behind the halls for those bringing cars (and its free) Did move into a house for my final year and there is plenty of opportunity for this to happen. Can get some good deals.
