The content is just sufficient and inline with my Program

Because is such a new university they have new equipments and facilities provided for all students from all courses which is great; the university keeps upgrading as they just opened their new wellbeing building for example. Campus and surroundings are great too. Waterfront is stunning especially when the sun sets and the parks around the area are so full of live. Coming from a country that doesn't have such things, it was really a surprise and it made me go out for walks more. There are 2 things that might need improvements. When I was a 1st year student the platform was very confusing for me and it took me a while to understand how to navigate on it. But I got there eventually. The other problem would be that they are not good with advertising what is happening in campus weekly. There are small events, gatherings and even talks that you might miss if you don't check your email daily. But teachers will let you know if they have any information about important events. For my course Global Game Jam is the highlight of every year and everybody usually participate.

As a student from Games Design (now Games development) I had been provided everything to improve myself not only as a student with high grades, but as a good future game designer. Teachers are friendly and have a great knowledge and understanding of the subjects they are teaching. We are literally friends with our teachers which, I think, is such an important thing to have as a student; to be able to speak freely with your course leader and to address them directly what problems you have, and then them being able to help you solve your academic problems and give you helpful feedback is amazing. I highly recommend this course for its teachers and for the information you are given. Although 60% of this course is self-learning, I think the 40% you get from coming to university could make a difference. Our timetable isn't crowder either so if you keep learning everyday for a few hours you definitely have time for yourself too which is great.

Athena Hall and Axo are great because they're located in the campus. Axo is literally near one of the learning buildings (Atrium) and Athena Hall is close to Waterfront (4 min walk) and to Atrium too (7 min walk). Athena Hall is usually the option for 1st year students so here you could make friends easily as everybody is in the same position of not knowing anybody really. In Axo there are usually students that know each other but there isn't any rule for that; I stayed in Axo in my 1st year and in Athena Hall in my 2nd year. Athena Hall is a bit more expensive but it has a better security as there is always a guard in the reception. If you are lucky you can get a room with a view to the port which is what I miss the most since I moved out. The staff is nice and helpful and I only had good experience when it comes to repairing stuff. They were very quick and made sure I was happy with their work. Axo was great too. It's a bit less expensive but I had the share the kitchen with 7 people. And if those people know each other but you don't know them, it cam get a bit unconfortable. The only issue I had in Axo was the fire alarm; it went off 3 times a day sometimes and it could take a while for somebody to come and shut it. There isn't a guard all the time either but as in Athena Hall, only students with a fob can enter. I do recommend both halls but check out their web pages before choosing one to see their rooms and prices. You can also have accomodation tours in person during Open Days or if you contact somebody from university.
