Student support is really good and their wellbeing advice is good. I like Bath as a city as well. I like my course but some of it was a bit unstructured at the beginning, the practicals could've been better as well. But they've fixed that for the younger years I think, and the project I have now is much better than they were before. I think that the things that could be improved about my uni experience (namely the buses & the cost of socialising, and the cost of everything in general) are out of the uni's hands.

The course overall is good, the lecturer quality wavers a bit but the information is usually presented well.

The floor I was on was just above the SU nightclub, they gave free entrance but since I don't like clubbing Wednesdays and Saturdays were just very loud with no compensation. I don't believe I was told when i chose my halls, I would've liked to have been warned. Everything else was OK, it was good value for the size of the room.

Pros Good teaching, good student opportunities and societies if you get involved. Lovely city too Cons Make more study spaces, especially in the city where most people live. Nightlife isn't the best if you're super into clubbing

Course is all in person which is great, although labs and tutorial time doesn't feel as helpful. Content feels relevant, especially in the context of the recent advancements in machine learning. Research seminars are also available to get involved with research at the uni. Some lecturers have heavy accents which makes them hard to understand, and some are just better at public speaking than others, which goes a long way when they are good. You'll end up using your own laptop anyway so facilities aren't really used.

Bad but cheap so you get what you pay for. Living in city is a blessing in disguise as it's easier to make friends when you're all stuck on campus together between lectures. It's also much nicer at the weekend living in the city than in the concrete jungle that is campus. I say it's bad because if your room faces inwards it becomes an oven in summer, and the ventilation fan outside is super loud and turns on at 8am every weekday
