Great facilities, some of the buildings could do with a lick of paint. The IT facilities are fantastic with Cisco networking labs down to high spec PCs in the library and brand new iMacs as well. Uni is very spread out across campus but normally you’re zoned to one specific area. Parking is very bad so as someone who commutes, not a plus side. And as someone who’s not very social, I haven’t looked into any SU stuff but I’m sure there’s lots on.

Great facilities including a dedicated Cisco networking lab and super high spec machines for development and all aspects of study. The library is brilliant with BYOD stations for you to plug your laptop in and use state of the art 27”+ screens to study in your own time.

Very busy, but everything you need is very close by and easy to get to. Haven’t tried public transport but have heard it’s ok as public transport goes.

Really great campus with up to date technologies and a very good set of buildings. Some of the car parks are poor in terms of space and flooding. But with the university being widely spread, there are lots of options. In a good location of Portsmouth and timetables make sense in being near and located together.

Excellent course quality with lots of hands on sessions. Especially for IT and networks with real-world equipment and super high spec machines for things like virtualisation and networking. Poor support from the work placement team in my experience. Emails go ignored and difficult to get an appointment. Have had to look elsewhere for support with my placement applications.
